A Psalm of David. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He will make me lie down in green pastures; he will lead me beside still waters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He refreshes my soul, He leads me in paths of righteousness for His name's sake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your rod and your staff comfort me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life.,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A psalm that accompanies me<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A very special psalm that reminds me who God is for me: my shepherd, my provider, and the one who guides and protects me. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What particularly moves me is the moment when the language of the psalm changes. At first, David speaks of God: \u201eHe encamps me\u2026 He guides me\u2026 He restores my soul.\u201c But as he walks through the \u201eday of darkness,\u201c he suddenly speaks to God: \u201eYou are with me.\u201c<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
